The name of this system, the 1-3-2-6 betting system, really explains it all. It's a system based on the betting pattern 1 unit, then 3 units, then 2 units, then 6 units. This type of blackjack betting system is based on the Paroli system and it's based on the premise that you can win 4 times in a row.

This system is a positive progression betting system which means you increase the betting amount when you win.

By using the 1-3-2-6 betting strategy, the first bet is 1 unit, the second bet is 3 units, the third bet is 2 units, and the fourth bet is 6 units. For this example we will assume each unit is $5 and you have even money odds of 1:1.

Your first bet would be $5. After winning this bet, $5 is added to the $10 on the table which makes the second bet $15. After winning this bet there will be a total of $30 on the table. You take back $20 and the third bet is now $10. If your third bet is also a winner, you will have $20 left on the table. Add $10, making a total of $30 for the fourth bet.

Finally, if the fourth bet wins, there will be a total of $60 left on the table, which is all your net profit. Now you've completed the betting cycle so you loop back and start all over again. If you lose a bet at any point before the betting cycle is completed, you start back over with the original $5 bet.

The 1-3-2-6 blackjack betting system is an interesting strategy. With this system you are risking a small amount to win a much larger amount, if you complete the betting cycle. You can lose 6 times at the worst level, the second bet, and still completely cover yourself by winning all 4 bets of the cycle one time

It is generally not recommended that you use the 1-3-2-6 betting system for blackjack unless you are just playing for fun. You are required to win 4 hands in a row to completely cycle the system and turn your profit. This system would be fun for a recreational player but no serious blackjack player should use this betting strategy to try to turn large profits.

The Paroli System

When gamblers discuss blackjack strategy, the serious theorists refer to the blackjack basic strategy or to card counting. These strategies are the ones that work (at least much of the time). But there are other "strategies," which are actually betting methods and not playing strategies, and the Paroli system is one of them. The Paroli progressive betting system is a "positive" system, whereby you keep increasing your bets as long as you win.

In the Paroli betting system, you start by betting the minimum bet. If you win the first hand you increase your next bet; if you lose, you go back to your original bet. When you use the Paroli system, you are "pyramiding" your profits, building on the base of your successes and on the likelihood of hot streaks.

When you use the Paroli system, however, it's smart to have a budgeting plan before you sit down at the blackjack table. You should decide exactly how far you are going to increase your bets until you start from the minimum again. This depends on factors like the kind of game you're playing, the odds you're getting, and, of course, the amount of money you're playing with.

The Paroli system is a relatively conservative system; it does not require a large investment, especially if and when you set a pre-determined limit beyond which you're not willing to bet. The Paroli is also a relatively consistent and stable system, especially compared to other systems, particularly the "negative" ones.

The Paroli is designed to take advantage of hot streaks. The theory is that by raising your bets during a winning streak, you can win more than if you keep betting a stagnant amount.

If you are lucky enough to hit a streak - a big IF - the Paroli betting system offers you a chance to win a large amount of money from a small initial wager. On the other hand - and there are always other hands with progressive betting systems - streaks are unpredictable and they can end as soon as they begin. In the long run, even with a positive system like the Paroli, you can lose your initial bankroll, especially if you're not careful. And there's nothing positive about that.

Because the betting limits reduce the casino's short term variance, the martingale system itself does not pose a threat to the casino, and many will encourage its use, knowing that they have the house advantage no matter when or how much is wagered.

Suppose that someone applies the martingale betting system at an American roulette table, with 0 and 00 values; on average, a bet on either red or black will win 18 times out of 38. If the player's initial bankroll is $150 and the betting unit is $10, he can afford 4 losing bets in a row (of $10, $20, $40, and $80) before he runs out of money. If any of these 4 bets wins he wins $10 and wins back any past losses. The chance of losing 4 bets in a row (and therefore losing the complete $150) is (20/38)4 = 7.67%. The remaining 92.3% of the time, the player will win $10. We will call this one round (playing until you have lost 4 times or until you win, whichever comes first). If you play repeated rounds with this strategy then your average earnings will be (0.923·$10) - (0.0767·$150) = -$2.275 per round. Therefore, you lose an average of $2.275 each round. However, if the gambler possesses an infinite amount of money, the expected return is (18/38)*b per roll (where b is the initial bet). With an initial bet of $10, the expected return is thus $4.736 per roll.

As with any betting system, it is possible to have variance from the expected negative return by temporarily avoiding the inevitable losing streak. Furthermore, a straight string of losses is the only sequence of outcomes that results in a loss of money, so even when a player has lost the majority of their bets, they can still be ahead over-all, since they always win 1 unit when a bet wins, regardless of how many previous losses.

When a hand is dealt the cards are added together, and if the total is more then to, the ten is removed from the total. As an example, of you are dealt a five and an eight, the total is 13, and after removing the 10, your hand is left with a total of three.

The best hand in Baccarat is a Natural, which means that the two cards that you are dealt add up to 9. This hand wins automatically unless the other player also has a Natural.

If there is no winner with the first round, the player and the dealer are each given an extra card to determine the winner. From these totals, it is determined of the dealer of the players hands win. If there is a tie, all bets are left on the table and players can choose to continue the best for the next game, or to remove their bets.

Playing Craps

Craps is a game that people either love or hate. The people that hate craps are the ones that would prefer to sit by themselves, alone, at the slot machines and have the night to themselves. Players can Hit as many times as they want to until their hand reaches a total of 21. When the player is satisfied with their hand, they sit, and the game continues to the dealer.

The dealer usually has a strict rule of when they must Hit and when they must Sit. This is usually that the dealer must Sit on any hand that is a Soft 17 or higher, or else they must Hit.

If the dealers hand totals higher then the players hand the player looses. If the dealers hand totals less then the player, the player wins. If ether hand is over 21, then that player busts and looses the game. If the player and the dealer both have the same value, the hand is considered a Push and the players money is held for the next game.

Playing Roulette

Roulette is a fun game to play and is easy to learn. In its most basic form, all you have to do is bet on the numbers.
